About Sacramento’s Film Commissioner
Prior to joining Sacramento Film + Media, Jennifer worked on feature films in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington DC before becoming the Manager of Television Production for a Hollywood studio. After moving to Sacramento, raising a family, and running two businesses, Jennifer served in the City Council Office of District 3 assisting Council-member Jeff Harris and producing the successful concert series Pops in the Park. With her extensive experience in film production, business management, and Sacramento city politics, Jennifer hopes to make Sacramento a film destination. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from UC Santa Barbara. In her free time, she enjoys spending weekends at her cabin in Tahoe with her husband and 3 children.
