Oak Park

While recent renovations and new businesses opening along Broadway working together with the addition of the UC Davis Medical Center have each dramatically improved this neighborhood, much of Oak Park is still a concrete jungle.

This is where metropolitan Sacramento bleeds into the tougher neighborhoods of South Sac. Where barbed wire still lines corporation yard fences, graffiti fills the broken walls of blighted buildings and sirens still echo through the nights.
