Cal Expo

For more than 160 years, the California State Fair has showcased the best of California.

The 17-day Fair is a robust celebration of all things California, its industries, agriculture, and diversity of its people. But Cal Expo does a lot more than just that! Encompassing nearly 100,000 indoor square feet by itself, the Main Pavilion is as big in versatility as it is in size. Eight roll-up doors, 18 ft. ceilings and concrete floors make this building ideal for closed environment indoor shoots, as well as the trade and consumer shows, festivals, dances, sporting events that go on throughout the year. The Expo Center next door clocks in at 58,870 indoor square feet, and Buildings A, B, C, and D add up to another 84,300 indoor square feet. Cal Expo also mas multiple concert stages. There’s a Regulation Horsetrack with a Clubhouse and Turf Club. Cal Expo is also home to Papa Murphy’s Park, the home field for Sacramento’s soon-to-be-MLS Soccer Team, the Sacramento Republic FC, and seats up to 12,000 people. Finally, with more than 12 acres of paved parking available, Cal Expo is great for closed environment outdoor shoots.
